World Food Program
It’s an honor to Holw El Sham to be selected as an Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), this title is a big responsibility on our shoulders to continue the noble humanitarian goal of ending world hunger hand in hand with WFP. Even before becoming an ambassador for the World Food Program (WFP) Holw El Sham has a great social responsibility to help the society in reducing poverty and food insecurity.
World Food Program (WFP) has a global presence, with people on the ground in countries that are most affected by hunger and malnutrition such as Syria, Iraq and Yemen, and they’re doing an amazing job to help families and communities build a better future for themselves. By using the celebrities and entities throughout the world to be a part of the program to raise awareness about the importance of providing a child with a nutritious meal during a long school day.
World Food Program (WFP) has a great influence in many countries around the world and particularly in Egypt as a middle-income country, therefore almost 400,000 children get benefit from WFP’s school feeding program in 11 governorates that include (Fayoum – Beni Suief – Sohag – Damietta – Behera – Daqahleya). Currently Holw El Sahm is producing 5,065 tons for the WFP’s school feeding program and will continue the path, as well as Holw El Sham will use its powerful position to continue raising awareness about the WFP’s work to build a world with Zero Hunger.
Last but not least, our selection from the World Food Program (WFP) was based on strict quality standards, we followed all the WFP’s requirements and conditions, starting from the quality standards, requirements of packets, hygienic conditions, and production capacity, which confirm that Holw El Sham is ready for this honorable mission.
